The Key Account Manager is responsible for maximizing Synergy Equipment rental revenue within an assigned geographic territory plus several specific accounts. They are the voice and initial point of contact for our industry- leading company. They will use exceptional sales and consultative skills to understand the needs of interested parties and turn them into loyal customers. A Key Account Manager must be ambitious and outgoing, with a love for calling on customers, building relationships and selling our equipment and services.
Essential Functions
* Maximize revenue from facilities and construction sites in a defined geographical territory and assigned accounts.
* Renting equipment to contractors, businesses, and government.
* Collaborate with specialty division representatives to promote cross selling to accounts wherever possible.
* Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
* Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients.
* Utilize Sales Force.com to develop a pipeline of opportunities.
* Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development

Required Education and Experience
* High School Diploma
* History of consistency and superior performance.
* Experience in equipment-related industries or construction.
* 4-year bachelor's degree Preferred
