Trio Supply is a leading distributor of disposable food service equipment and products, cleaning supplies, and other paper products.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating sales leads through cold calling prospective clients or networking. Meet monthly and quarterly sales goals set by manager, to sell, set up and maintain all new customers sold and focus on sales-related activities, client relationships and positive client experience.
Responsibilities include:
Identify opportunities in target markets for products and services. Target markets are restaurants, bars, catering companies, schools, cleaning contractors and property management companies.
Assess client needs and Trio’s ability to meet those needs.
Primary product lines sold will be food service disposables and janitorial supplies.
Accurate and timely quoting for Food Service Disposable opportunities within the quoting system.
Set up new customers with order guides and web ordering access.
Develop and nurture relationships with key customer accounts, maintain and grow sales within them.
Follow up with new leads and referrals generated by Trio Supply.
Maintain and develop vendor relationships as they pertain to the Food Service Disposable category.
Keep up with the latest industry developments including the market positioning of key competitors.
Provide annual business reviews with established customers.
Continually look for meaningful gross profit opportunities within your established account base. This could involve product consolidation, vendor changes, cost negotiation, or other avenues.

After completing an initial training program, you will be managing, servicing, and selling established customers including restaurants, hotels, schools, long-term care facilities, and more within an assigned territory. In some cases, where a territory is not immediately available, associates will be assigned a supporting role until a territory assignment becomes available.
Weekend Rotation:
Generally, 1 in 7 weekends are required (based on business demand)

Essential Function
The Salon Business Consultant is responsible for an assigned territory of customers to which their main focus is to help grow their salons overall sales. The Consultant will be responsible for meeting and achieving assigned sales goals by utilizing their manufacturer education and sales resources. Sales should be expanded upon through opening new doors and selling approved beauty products while introducing new products and concepts. The Consultant will actively use all forms of social media as an additional outlet to serve salons, barbers, spas, schools, and any licensed beauty professional.
Primary Duties:
Grow the Business:
Identify key accounts within territory and establish a route that will be most efficient to grow and develop existing customers while looking for new partnerships.
Demonstrate and assist customers in developing, planning, implementing, monitoring and tracking results of all in-salon promotions, programs and concepts.
Determine customers' needs and offer products and services to meet those needs.
Communicate all sales initiatives through partnering with vendors including but not limited to achieving corporate sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Acknowledge and respond to all email, text, and phone communication in a timely manner (24 Hours)
Analyze your accounts to decide what brand support, education, and promotions are needed to grow within that salon.
Call on your customers in person in order to execute established sales goals.
Strictly comply with established procedures regarding the processing of returns including the pick-up of returns from the customer and completing the required documents. Timely completion of assignments and projects that may be assigned.
Work with all areas of business, custom.er service, accounts receivable, IT, and any other necessary business function provided entity.
Actively prospect for new customers through cold calling, social media, and other digital outlets
Effectively manage all administrative aspects of the role in a timely manner- including but not limited to daily order entry and regular maintenance of customer information and activity for assigned territory in salesforce.com.
Attracting and retaining salon clientele by utilizing social media as a form of communication, promotion, education and product knowledge.
Conduct effective in-person and virtual product knowledge classes.
Communicate with the Manager regarding calls, visits, orders, status of sales progress, follow-up plans and any assistance needed.
Grow Team and Culture:
Be a subject matter expert on utilizing digital platforms & social media to grow the business. Share your knowledge with peers in order to grow the teams' digital capabilities.
Attend all meetings, functions and events and maintain regular contact as established by the Company or Supervisor
Must be available to attend shows, participate in the setup and dismantling of displays, booths, handling back stock as well as performing other physical activities that might be required.

Excellent knowledge and experience using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and other social media platforms to build pipelines, books of business, and other business needs.
Excellent computer skills, knowledge of salesforce.com, Outlook, PDF Expert, and Oracle. Experience with iPad a plus.
Ability to build an online community and create social connections, including but not limited to, using search engines and other internet tools.
This position requires travel on a local level within the territory. It also requires attendance at shows, conventions, and educational events which may include overnight travel and/or some weekend nights.

Northrop Grumman is seeking a **Senior Principle BD Rep of Business Development Operations** to join the Armament Systems business unit (ASBU) business development (BD) team. This position will be based in **Plymouth, Minnesota.** It can be worked from many other suitable locations.
This position will report to the Director of Business Development for Armament System Business Unit. The qualified applicant will lead division pipeline data management and coordinate all BD deliverables in close collaboration with Sector, Division, and Business Unit leadership teams.
**Responsibilities Include:**
+ Lead pipeline data management through the Salesforce tool. Set expectations for business unit pipeline data fidelity, act as the lead Salesforce administrator for the ASBU, and represent the ASBU Salesforce interests with all corporate, sector, and division teams.
+ Manage our Business Unit discretionary spending (NCTA) budget
+ Coordinate and deliver division, sector and corporate data calls for the ASBU BD team.
+ Manage the division BD team budget and resources, including consultancy agreements and other costs.
+ Plan, organize, and lead the periodic 'Business Strategy Team' (BST) meetings.
+ Keep the BD team on time and on target with all recurring meetings, reviews, and deliverables.
+ Align the BD team with other major functional efforts such as the AOP development or Sector Strategy Review.
+ Collaborate with customer engagement leadership to manage all customer meeting data in Salesforce.
+ Take initiative to improve BD processes such as BAP alignment, capture excellence, and strategy development.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 10 or more years of work experience with strong preference for a major defense industry prime contractor
+ 5 or more years of work experience in business development for a major defense industry prime contractor, with a minimum of 3 or more years work experience in business development operations, to include pipeline management, event coordination, and budget management.
+ Excellent understanding of the Salesforce tool; ability to teach both new and experienced users.
+ Prior work experience in Northrop Grumman business development, to include roles in in pipeline development & analysis, Salesforce administration, BAP integration, AOP support, Sector Strategy Review support, tradeshow planning, and/or support for assorted division, sector, and corporate deliverables.
+ Ability to build professional networks, manage fast-moving deadlines, coordinate across geographically dispersed teams, analyze and synthesize complex datasets, problem-solve, and communicate with executive leadership.
+ Ability to travel at least 25% of time
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Graduate of Northrop Grumman sponsored strategy and capture courses
+ Prior experience with Defense products, including a demonstrated understanding of pursuit demands, pipeline data management needs, and the pace of both opportunities and captures.

Salary Range: $131,100.00 - $196,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
