POSITION SUMMARY:
Lundbeck US is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and highly experienced individual for the position of Sr. Data Scientist AI Strategy & Activation. This individual will support the implementation of the US AI strategy and activation that is aligned with business goals driven by portfolio strategic priorities. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS:
Accredited bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.).
4+ years of relevant experience in AI/ML model development, deployment, and optimization.
Strong hands-on experience with AI/ML algorithms, NLP, Deep Learning, and large language models (LLMs).
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
Experience in working with cloud platforms and MLOps for model deployment.
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
Ability to tackle complex problems independently, providing practical and scalable AI solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to translate data into business insights.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS:
Experience leading projects or teams and collaborating with non-direct reports to achieve project goals.

Previous experience working in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries is preferred.

Essential Functions
Data Analysis

Qualifications
Formal Education and Certification

OVERVIEW
eClinical Solutions is expanding our Data Science team and we are seeking a highly skilled, creative, and driven Senior Data Scientist to design and build breakthrough approaches and solutions for our clients using clinical trial data.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will take ownership for the design, implementation, and support of AI-enabled products for the company's elluminate software platform. You will need strong analytical and technical skills in classical machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), and large language models (LLMs). You will work in close collaboration with the company's business clients and internal stakeholders, including the product and engineering teams. You will also serve as a mentor to other team members as we build AI-enabled products that enhance the experience and efficiency of elluminate users using structured and unstructured clinical trial data.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Our ideal candidate is an accomplished expert with deep technical credibility and implementation skills in the clinical trials and/or healthcare domains - the Senior Data Scientist:
designs, prototypes, develops, and fields predictive models and analytical approaches that power a critical business function,
has a track record of diving into data to discover hidden patterns and conducting error/deviation analysis
has a track record of successful AI-enabled products that utilize ML, DL, and LLMs
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or a related field. Master's or PhD preferred.
Track record of building successful products with ML, DL, and LLMs.
Strong experience working with healthcare and/or clinical trial data.
Strong Python and SQL skills.
Some experience with MLOps preferred.
Proven ability to work independently and with technical and non-technical team members.

Data Scientist
to join our team of diverse and qualified professionals. The role focuses on supporting the Sponsor's mission by delivering advanced language training to ensure proficiency across a broad spectrum of languages for the Sponsor's employees.
Responsibilities:
Works closely with the Sponsor to gather requirements and advise on AWS infrastructure design, development, and deployment of Cloud resources.
Designs, tests, and implements log aggregation in support of Cloud and AWS systems.
Designs, tests, and implements search and visualization infrastructure in support of AWS systems.
Works with vendors to develop and deploy Cloud based solutions to the learning environment in AWS.
Acts as a liaison between the Customer and Vendor Contacts to troubleshoot AWS when deploying new resources.
Recommends new technologies for use in the cloud environment (AWS).
Communicates IT requirements between management and technical entities.
Qualifications:
Experience in risk management and ability to identify project risks and facilitate the development and implementation of mitigation strategies
Experience implementing and integrating AWS solutions.
Experience in gathering requirements from vendor contacts and customers.
Experience using Linux in the AWS environment.
Experience with scripting and web programming technologies required to support web-based learning systems, such as PHP, PERL, Java, Jscript, or PowerShell.
Experience deploying third party software products.
Experience with Software Configuration Management (SCCM).
Experience working with desktop and network hardware.
