Duties: · Able to open and close store based on all manager policies and procedures. - Must be able to resolve conflict with employees and customers alike. · Provide fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and help. Provide the customers with the information they need to make an informed decision and feel good about the products they purchase.· Be knowledgeable and seek education on all products Fisherman's Warehouse caries.· Be courteous and positive to all customers by greeting them and ensuring they have a positive shopping experience.· Help promote and educate customers in shop and on various online platforms.· Able to learn and work machinery in the reel department to spool and de-spool line.· Able to fully operate point of sale and conduct all levels of business within that program such as returns, discounts, looking items up, overrides, etc.· Basic computer knowledge to conduct various tasks based on business needs.· Maintain a clean, and operational shop by following all safety policies and standards.· Able to lift packages up to 50lbs· Able to assist on all other business needs such as but not limited to (ordering, inventory, cleaning, loading, answering phones, etc.)· MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS!!· Will be responsible to balance, open registers and processing Daily Balance Sheets when Store Managers are not present- which is roughly twice per 7 day work week. · Pay Scale: $18-19/per hour- FULL TIME ONLY Required Skills -Retail Experience -Self-motivated -Strong leadership skills -Strong sales abilities -Great communication skills, must communicate with Headquarters on staffing issues, questions and general day to day activities at the store. -Ability to operate basic business software programs -Must be able to perform basic math skills like counting money.
