**Roles and Responsibilities:**
· Implementing and maintaining Backup Infrastructure for NetBackup and Veeam. (Veritas NetBackup as primary and Veeam as secondary backup tool).
· Good knowledge and experience on integrating Backup solutions with Cloud platforms - Azure, AWS, Nutanix and Kubernetes.
· Troubleshooting and fixing issues related to Cloud Backup Infra - Azure, AWS, Nutanix and Kubernetes.
· Daily health checks on Backup Infrastructure.
· Supporting, Identifying and troubleshooting daily failed client backups, duplication jobs, restore jobs and initiate corrective action.
· Configuration and Handle issues related to NetBackup master servers, media servers, storage units, policies, catalog backups, SLP's.
· Manage NDMP backups and troubleshoot errors related to them.
· Media inventory Management and Tape drive configuration.
· Supporting and troubleshooting errors related to tape libraries, drives and media related errors.
· Configuration of DB backups (Oracle, SQL, DB2, Informix, Exchange), fixing errors related to DB backups and perform DB restore operations.
· Troubleshooting Backup performance Issues (Network + Configuration).
· Deploying NetBackup master, media servers, OpsCenter and integrating with third party monitoring and reporting tool.
· Configuration of Auto Image Replication and fixing issues related to it.
· Configuration and handle issues related to NetBackup and Flex 5340 appliances.
· Good Knowledge in configuration, upgrading and managing NetBackup IT Analytics Tool.
· Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of multiple backup applications on client/cloud servers.
· Good knowledge in media server recovery from Azure Bucket.
· Good knowledge in Cloud scale technology.
· Troubleshooting report generation issues in NetBackup OpsCenter.
· Perform Hardware and Software upgrades.
· Perform Disaster Recovery in Backup Infra when needed

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience or 7 with a Masters degree as a systems administrator on an agile project.
Skilled Linux based System Administrator.
