Position Summary & Highlights:
This MA role focuses on Quality Performance Improvement within the Population Health area. This position provides education, training, support, and collaboration with primary care clinical teams and providers to support Quality Performance Improvement initiatives (Gaps In Care Closure) focused on Quality measures (HEDIS).
This position will be primarily located at one of our Family Medicine clinics in Boise.
The position requires self-management, critical thinking skills, ability to analyze data sets, ability to provide gap in care education to clinic staff and providers, accountability for all workflows, team collaboration, and willingness to be flexible day to day.

What You Will Do:
The PHMA work includes supporting system-wide quality performance goals for HEDIS and STAR measures. This role reports to the SAMG Manager of Quality Performance Improvement, Population Health.
This work includes educating and training primary care/family medicine clinic staff back office staff on preventative wellness screenings and improving internal workflow under the leadership of the manager, and director – your ideas will be value add to continually improve internal process for optimal provider and patient experience, and improve patients health outcomes and quality of life.
You will analyze preventative health care screenings, work on gaps in care lists, Pre-Visit Planning for providers, reviewing payor lists for open gaps in care, completing chart review for documentation of gap closure, and potentially some outreach to patients for assistance to schedule health screenings.
An ideal candidate must be proficient in EPIC and Excel, must possess a curious mindset for facilitating and leading change.
You will have payer experience.
You will also possess professionalism and work at the top of licensure.
You enjoy a care team support role, troubleshooting, working in a team and independently, and is passionate about helping to provide the best care for our patients.
Work Schedule:
This position will work Mondays - Fridays, around the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm, shift start and end times are somewhat flexible.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:
American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)
American Medical Technologists (RMA)
National Healthcare Association (CCMA)
National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)
National Association of Health Professionals (NAHP)
American Medical Certification Association (CMAC)
National Phlebotomy Certification Examination (NPCE MA)
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.

The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) is seeking talented performers to work in a part-time capacity as a valued member of the Education Department at the New York Aquarium. YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform the Sea Lion Celebration narration for up to 1500 aquarium visitors at a time, working closely with the animal care team, and trained sea lions.
* Provide pre-program entertainment for onsite animal experiences.
* Deliver talks on a microphone for up to 300 aquarium visitors at a time in front of animal exhibits.
* Lead specialized, behind-the-scenes tours for visitors, including the facilitation of a touch experience at our small shark touch pool.

The Event & Facility Technician plays a key behind-the-scenes role in preparing and maintaining the spaces where unforgettable memories are made. This position supports event set-up and breakdown, light facility maintenance, and operational logistics that keep the Gardens running smoothly and beautifully. You'll work across departments to ensure event spaces and public areas are safe, clean, and ready for guests. This role involves hands-on work with tools, equipment, event furnishings, and facility systems-helping to ensure the highest standards of presentation and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Support Event Operations - Work closely with all departments to set up and break down Gardens events, classes, weddings, private event rentals, and special events, including placement of tables, chairs, décor, signage, and equipment according to layouts and specifications. Offer on-site support during weddings and programs, including troubleshooting set-up issues, directing visitors, assisting vendors, and coordinating traffic and parking when needed.
Maintain Facilities - Perform routine maintenance and upkeep across the Gardens, including basic repairs, painting, minor plumbing, and general handyman tasks to ensure all public and event areas are safe, clean, and well-presented. Monitor and inspect facility spaces across the Gardens campus for cleanliness, safety, and accessibility throughout the day. Use hand and power tools, carts, lifts, and other equipment to transport and install furnishings and materials. Follow safety protocols at all times. Respond to immediate facility needs and work proactively to keep the property visitor and event-ready.

The search is on for part-time, animated entertainers who feel they could transform themselves into Mad Scientists and show kids just how fun science can be!
Our entertainers perform throughout Maine and Southern New Hampshire at Homes, Our South Portland Lab, Schools, Recreation centers, Libraries, Festivals, Fairs, and Campgrounds. A potential Mad Science performer must have experience with elementary school aged kids (grades K-6), be comfortable and enjoy performing for any size crowd, large (up to 250 people) or small (up to 20 people), and be energetic.
A science background is not required! We'll train you on everything you'll need to know. All the topics are fun and engaging!
A theatre or performing background is helpful, but not required.
Shows/events are usually 1 hour long and take anywhere between 40-60 minutes to set up and 30 minutes to cleanup. You must have some flexible availability. We can work around current work schedules for the right person!
Shows can be scheduled during the week or on weekends, at any time of day or in the evening.
Birthday Parties are a combination of a show and hands on activities for small groups of 8-20 children. Birthday Parties take place at the birthday child's home or at the Mad Science Lab in South Portland. They are usually scheduled on the weekends either in the morning or afternoon.
Requirements
Must have a dependable vehicle with room for science equipment bins.
Able to travel to different locations in Maine and Southern New Hampshire within a 2-3 hour drive from Portland.
Must have some flexibility in scheduling and be able to work weekends
Have a BIG, fun personality. Being goofy is part of what we do!
