As a Sterile Processing Technician at our Outpatient Surgery Center, you’ll play a critical role behind the scenes ensuring our surgical teams are fully equipped to deliver world-class care. Under the general direction of the Sterile Processing Department management team, you will serve as an Instrument Technician supporting the sterile processing operations of the Outpatient Surgery Center. Your expertise in handling and sterilizing surgical instrumentation will directly support continuous, high-quality service across all surgical procedure rooms.
Primary Responsibilities:
Process surgical instruments in the decontamination area with precision and attention to safety.
Assemble and sterilize instrument trays in accordance with departmental protocols and procedural needs.
Operate sterilization and processing equipment including steam and hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaners, washers, heat sealers, and dumbwaiters.
Store, date, and rotate supplies to ensure readiness and compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations.

Qualifications
Required
At least 6 months working experience in Sterile Processing.
Graduate of accredited Sterile Processing program, Surgical Tech program or relevant experience.
Working knowledge of aseptic technique, sterile fields and the principles of an Operating Room decontamination.
Prefer demonstrated skills in proper maintenance and cleaning of instrumentation.
Correct use of various decontamination equipment and instrument/tray sterilizers.
Oral and written skills to collect and relay information accurately.
Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationship with all staff.
Skill in performing calmly during emergent and /or stressful situations by taking an appropriate action.
Skill in working as part of a team.
Ability in the correct usage of proper English grammar and vocabulary to orient and train team members.

Under the general direction and supervision of the Administrative Nurse I, the Gastroenterology Technician III is responsible for assisting the Gastroenterology Technician II in the complex and critical job of endoscope and equipment decontamination / reprocessing and is the departmental expert in this vitally important area. In the absence of sufficient Gastroenterology Technician II’s the Gastroenterology Technician III may be assigned to assisting with equipment & procedure room preparation, setup, calibration prior to procedures; procedure room breakdown; specimen collection in the MPU, inventory control, and patient billing. Responsible for testing, arranging repair and documentation of endoscope processing and repair.
Additionally the Gastroenterology Technician III is responsible for assisting the physician and nurse directly and providing direct hands on patient care during routine procedures (Colonoscopy, EGD, Sigmoidoscopy, Motility Procedures) as well as more complex interventional procedures (ERCP, EUS, Fine Needle Aspiration, Biopsy, Bronchoscopy, Right Heart Catheterization).
Specimen Processing: The Gastroenterology Technician III is responsible for the collection of tissue and fluid specimens from patients during diagnostic and invasive procedures including, but not limited to, Bronchoscopy, Cardiac Biopsy, Liver Biopsy, Bone Biopsy, Upper & Lower GI procedures, ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound Fine Needle Aspiration. The technician will assist the physician in obtaining the specimen, retrieve the specimen directly from the biopsy device, implant / mount / suspend the specimen utilizing microscope slides / mesh / suspension solutions. Label and log the specimens in accordance to Medical Center Policy and deliver them to the appropriate pick up station. Specimens will be processed for Cytology, Pathology, Microbiology and Chemistry testing.
On Call: The Gastroenterology Technician II takes call routinely on nights & weekends and is responsible for assisting the physician in the performance of bedside procedures.
Acts as a mentor assisting in the training and monitoring of Gastroenterology Technician I & II.
Qualifications

Job Summary:
Junior Rangers Camp Leaders are responsible for ensuring a fun and positive learning environment for TK and Junior Rangers campers and will support clubs of up to 10 participants. Junior Rangers Camp Leaders have the opportunity to grow, connect, play and have the greatest impact on their camper’s.summer experience. Junior Rangers Camp Leaders are enthusiastic, and love to learn and work with young people in an outdoor, summer setting! Other support members of the team include a camp coordinator, who oversees the program and a community liaison who supports the camp coordinator.
