What You'll Do
The BCBA will plan, oversee, deliver, and adapt naturalistic therapy for young children ages 2-6 years old in a center-based setting
Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialties (speech, OT, ABA, psychology)
Design and implement services based on the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). a play-based form of therapy
Be a part of an interdisciplinary care team including speech, occupational therapy, and mental health services
Monitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate needed changes to team members and families
Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, communicate progress, and coach and support them in their journey
What You Have
Minimum of a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field
Current BCBA certification
ABA early intervention experience
Preferred candidates have a background in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field

Provide initial corrective feedback to RBTs, when needed, as part of progressive disciplinary action procedures.

Youth Peer Advocates will use their lived experience and recovery journey to inspire and empower young people navigating mental health and/or substance use challenges. The Youth Peer Advocate serves as a role model, mentor, and support system for adolescents and transition-age youth while supporting MHA’s Mission.

Qualifications
Must be between the ages of 18 and 30.
Lived experience as a youth with one or more child-serving systems, including mental health care, substance use treatment, child welfare, juvenile justice, or special education.
Certified Youth Peer Advocate (YPA) or eligible and willing to obtain certification.
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connect with youth from diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge of youth empowerment, peer support principles, and trauma-informed care practices.
Comfortable facilitating groups, public speaking, and participating in community engagement activities.

Meet with your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director at a minimum of 1x/month for required check-in
Respond to all email and Slack communication promptly (within 48 hours of receiving a communication)
Review the curriculum aligned to group assignment prior to group start time
Arrive ~10 minutes early to scheduled group time and facilitate all groups for the entirety of the hour
Facilitate groups following Charlie Health best practices and using assigned and most up to date Charlie Health curriculum
Facilitate groups across age groups and cohorts, including Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing and Wellness Hour as needed
Foster client engagement and group cohesion throughout the session, encouraging client participation and fostering camera-on culture
Following all operational policies and procedures as indicated by Charlie Health best practices
Participate in collaborative Treatment Team (Tuesdays) and Group Supervision (every other Friday) with your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, peers and other Clinical Leadership team members
Work collaboratively and respectfully across the care team including with Primary Therapists, Care Experience Specialists and Care Coaches
Communicate clearly, professionally, and promptly with all clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents
Monitor your treatment documentation to ensure all of your notes are completed within required 24 hour timeframe and meet agency and professional standards per DHCS and The Joint Commission standards
Maintain and model professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and confidentiality

Requirements
Must be available during late afternoons and evenings on weekdays (3-8pm MT on Monday to Thursday) and on Saturdays to meet the schedules of our adolescent and young adult clients
