Transit Ambassador
Work with Benesch! Our partner is seeking people to work on an on-call basis in the Baltimore area as Transit Ambassadors and make a positive impact on the community and the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA). This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for temporary employment to supplement their income when work is available. *This position works for a third-party contractor and does not include benefits.
The successful candidate should have advanced knowledge of public transportation in the city, including Bus, Light Rail and Metro. Transit Ambassadors are trained to assist MTA customers with disabilities to ensure that all clients are able to equally utilize the transit facilities. They will be asked to provide assistance such as directing customers as they enter or exit stations, board vehicles, or use fare vending machines. All Transit Ambassadors are trained to inspect the transit station facilities and take action to preserve the cleanliness and safety of all public areas. Another key responsibility is to provide customer service support with bus bridges/shuttles while construction is being done to the transit tracks or stations and during road construction resulting in bus detours.
Pay rate - $17.53/ hour
What You Will Need

Must own a working cell phone with WiFi/data capability
Must be able to stand for 4 hours minimum and maximum up to 8-12 hours (based on applicant's ability)

Loveland Excavating and Paving are searching for an EXPERIENCED Dump Truck driver. You must have 2 - 3 years experience driving a dump truck, hauling dirt, rock and/or asphalt. Please do not apply if you do not have this experience.
Class A and B - Manual Operators Only:
Drive and operate dump trucks delivering material to job sites (concrete, asphalt, or miscellaneous materials).
Pick up material, verify load for accuracy, and deliver as instructed.
Must be able to utilize navigation and road maps.
Daily inspection of trucks.
Truck Driver Skills and Qualifications:
Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; always comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
Report any issues with the vehicle to your supervisor immediately.
Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
Follow all Traffic laws/ DOT regulations.
Ability to lift 80 pounds.
Able to pass random drug tests.
Clean driving record.
No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years.
Listening and verbal communication skills are a must.
Dependability.
