Sr. Training Manager, Oncology Nurse Educator Team

The Oncology Nurse Educator (ONE) Sr. Training Manager develops and implements relevant training programs for the Oncology Nurse Educator team, and additional affiliated commercial employees in the oncology Business Unit, as needed.
This position is a remote based role.
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
* Develops and executes training on product knowledge, clinical education, account management skills, product launches, communication skills, Phase I (new hire) training, sales meeting training workshops, ongoing learning sustainment programs & other learning resources for the Oncology commercial team.
* Collaborates with and supports relevant internal departments, including Commercial (Marketing, Director of Oncology Nurse Educators, Field Sales), Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, Business Conduct, and Regulatory to develop appropriate and compliant training.
* Assists in the design of curricula or programs and planning of instructional methods and materials using adult learning principles.
* Effectively prepares for instruction by conducting needs assessments, identifying targeted participant characteristics, and soliciting cross-functional feedback before finalizing design and strategy.
* Offers solutions for bridging gaps between current organizational capabilities and needs.
* Helps ensure readiness of the organization for training deployment including identifying key stakeholders and determining their needs in advance in order to deliver high quality and effective programming.
* Analyzes the characteristics of existing technologies and their use in instructional design.
* Monitors and maintains alignment with Commercial group's strategic training plan while balancing short-term and long-term business goals. Uses metrics and KPI to track learning outcomes and ties to goals of the business.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
* Demonstrated deep knowledge of current practices in oncology screening, diagnosis, and treatment, for both solid and liquid tumors; Ability to effectively communicate with and educate others in these topic areas.

* Board Certified in Oncology nursing (OCN)
* Sales, marketing, or training experience in a competitive biotech/pharma marketplace
* Prior commercial training experience
The salary range for this position is: $153,935.00 - $199,210.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. The Sr. Director, Corporate Affairs & Legal Leadership Communications is a consummate communications professional, whose perspective is highly regarded within and outside of Public Affairs. Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of statistical clinical trial experience
Master's degree and 4 years of statistical clinical trial experience OR
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of statistical clinical trial experience OR
Associate's degree and 10 years of statistical clinical trial experience OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of statistical clinical trial experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Technically strong with hands on experience of various design and statistical analysis
Clinical trial experience
Any safety assessment experience and/or experience of application of Bayesian methodology in clinical trials environment is a plus
Experience working effectively in a globally dispersed team environment with cross-cultural partners
Proficiency in developing or supervising the development of data visualization tools and data analysis applications using eg. R/Shiny is highly desirable
