great colleagues, interesting work
unrealistic expectations of management, not much career movement available as no roles are opening. always concern of WFR.
virgin pulse is a quirky benefit where you earn money from steps and other behaviors you put in place to be healthier.
personable, making hard decisions on what needs to happen with the organization to keep it relevant
there are pockets of bad behavior and loss of the HP Way where its super cut throat. I would push those behaviors out of the organization.
my comp is higher as I have been with company a long time and taken step back where they protect most of your earnings.
this is a ridiculous question.
autonomy.
Projects provided enough of a challenge to maintain interest in work. Job enviorment was based on remote activity which came in handy for work life balance. Location was very accessiblefor folks workong in the Houston Metro area.
The support for non-employees was not as balanced per regular employees. In the case of pandemic policiesseemed to be one sided. As for compensation the use of third party suppliers based in non regional office lin=mited growth, paid time off and limitd the advancement with in orgnization. All though younger experience contractors did come on full time HP employees.
The work schedule for those in an hourly position did have overtime oppurtunities. The diversity of workforce and thehiring of veterean status people. based on business needs a two week furlow at the end of the year made it possible for Holiday vacation or time off planning.
In my understanding the industry average is higher and HP keeps focus on bottom line business needs first.
Working with compatent, friendly and positive enviornment.
Internal mobility, employee benefits, continuing education, ethical business practices.
some businesses in secular decline
working with customers
