POSITION SUMMARY: The Intern role offers a unique opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world business scenarios. This internship is designed to provide practical exposure to various aspects of manufacturing, production, and corporate department functions while contributing to the health and success of our company. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - (based on area of assignment) Champion Lozier's Mission, Vision, and Core Values by demonstrating the behaviors that contribute to Lozier's success. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support day-to-day activities and projects. Research competitors, industry and market trends to provide insight and recommendations. Collect and analyze data, and generate reports to support decision-making. Provide general support, including organizing meetings, managing schedules, and maintaining documents. Interact with team and external partners, both verbally and in writing, to ensure effective collaboration. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge. Take part in various special projects and/or assignments and ad-hoc tasks as needed. Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments. Ability to work and interact well with others. Administrative: Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference calls. Help manage shared calendars for team members. Organize and maintain digital and physical files, ensuring easy retrieval of important documents. Greet and assist visitors, clients, and guests. Ensure a positive experience for all. Assist in the planning and coordination of company events, meetings, and workshops. Finance/Accounting: Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Assist in internal and external audit preparations. Ensure all necessary documentation and records are maintained accurately. Monitor and track expenses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary guidelines. Information Technology: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications, including operating systems and productivity tools. Create and update IT documentation, including user guides, knowledge base articles, and system configurations. Participate in testing of software, hardware, processes to ensure functionality and meeting of requirements. Support IT projects such as system upgrades, hardware deployments, and software rollouts. Technical: Provide technical support to engineers and technical professionals. Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and finding solutions. Participate in testing and quality assurance processes to ensure functionality and reliability. Assist in the development and testing of prototypes or proof-of-concept projects; may require going to the production floor to resolve any issues that may arise. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols in the technical work environment. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education: Current enrollment or recent graduate in a related degree program. Experience: No previous experience required. Required Skills · Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. · Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. · High sense of urgency. · Eagerness to take initiative and work on challenging technical projects. · Ability to work independently and in a team. · Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. · Basic technical knowledge and the ability to learn and adapt quickly. · Basic math and computer skills.
