Hours include time at facilities, paid breaks every 4 hours, and a 30-minute paid lunch for team check-ins and planning. You will also be reimbursed for mileage and drive time. On some days, the total hours worked may exceed 8 hours, when combining drive time and time worked at the facility, and on other days, work hours may not be a full 8-hour shift. Number of days scheduled per week and number of hours worked per week may vary.
Regular Travel: Up to 75 miles one-way daily, with potential for longer distances if needed.
Responsibilities
Conduct structured interviews with facility residents using a tablet.
Be respectful, punctual, travel to assigned facilities, and work independently while maintaining a professional, neutral approach.
Keep organized records of completed interviews and resident participation (e.g., completed interviews, refusals, etc.).
Demonstrate interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate skillfully, frequently, and in a timely manner via email, phone, and in-person.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Participate in regular quality assurance observations and pass observation interviews, as evaluated by Quality Assurance Mentors.
Requirements
Comfortable interacting with older adults and individuals with physical, behavioral, and/or other disabilities.
Demonstrate concern and sensitivity to issues of disability, illness, and communication challenges.
Strong organization, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and follow structured interview protocols.
Tech-savvy - comfortable with email, file uploads, and using a tablet.
A private desktop or laptop computer, and printer to be able to print from home.
Reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license and insurance.
Adhere to a business casual dress code and other project policies.
Pass two-day classroom training and one-day field training.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in research, interviewing, or fieldwork is a plus.
Familiarity with older adults, nursing facilities, residential care facilities, or adult care settings is preferred.
Perks & Compensation
Hourly Pay: $23.16 per hour for work time (e.g., conducting interviews, etc.)
Mileage Reimbursement: $0.45 per mile
Drive Time Pay: $10.70 per hour
Print Stipend: $3 per week

Work Environment & Physical Demands
This role is primarily on-site at nursing and residential care facilities.
Requires routine usage of standard office equipment such as a computer, tablet, phone, and home printer. Only the tablet is provided to interviewers.
May involve standing, sitting, walking, and carrying materials for up to eight hours a day. Interviewers must always carry all interview materials on their person.
Use repetitive hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms for up to eight hours each day.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 10 pounds.
Individuals are regularly required to talk and hear to approach residents and conduct face-to-face interviews with residents.
