Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a Non-Registered Radiological Technician (NCT) like you who provides expertise and to be a champion of patient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking an X-Ray Tech who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.
As an NCT, you will:
Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.
Perform drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests including processing specimens for reference laboratories.
Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.
Works closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Ensure occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
Performs routine office functions including copying, faxing, scanning, mailing, sorting and filing of patient and clinic materials as appropriate.
Is cross trained for Front Desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out on computer, End of Day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release
May be required to work alternate shifts and may be required to float to other clinic locations. Assist with general patient care when needed.
You Should Have:
1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting is beneficial
NCT - A Non-Certified Technician license in Texas
The ability to obtain a BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start
Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion
NCT License issued by the Board of Medical Examiners/Texas Department of State Health Services is required

Noggin Educational Foundation is a nonprofit organization located in Grand Prairie, TX. Our mission is to help close the achievement gap by providing educational opportunities to students from low-income households.
Role Description
We are currently seeking a part-time (20 hours/week) project coordinator who is passionate about education and committed to making a difference in the lives of our students. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely and requires some in-person work at our office in Grand Prairie part of the time. As our project coordinator, you will coordinate our programs, liaise with program stakeholders, track and report program outcomes, and provide administrative support to the foundation's CEO.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the S.P.A.R.K. summer math and reading program.
- Prepare existing activities and identify new activities as needed.
- Assist senior staff in recruiting teachers, site coordinators, and substitute teachers.
- Monitor locations as needed throughout the summer.
- Recruit and schedule speakers for Career Chats as part of project-based learning.
- Manage backpack and book drives through marketing and donor identification.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of previous experience in program coordination or a similar role.
- Experience working with children and families from low-income families is preferred.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Accompany physicians to record and document patient visits and procedures accurately in the electronic health records system.
Create and review medical charts for accuracy and completion in accordance with practice guidelines.
Assist in completing charts by transcribing results of patient and doctor consultations.
Record diagnosis, discharge, prescriptions, and/or follow-up instructions.
Perform other duties as assigned by the practice manager or physician.
