This efficiency-driven and tech-savvy individual will process invoices and payments, manage the overall dispute/chargeback resolution process, and lead project management for the finance team, while also providing comprehensive support for departmental needs. This position reports to Vibee's Manager of Finance and Director of Operational Finance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Operations Management:
Manage key operational functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR)
AP: Manage vendor onboarding, process and manage vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
AR: Generate and send invoices to customers, tracking and managing customer payments.
Credit Card Dispute/Chargeback Management:
Manage and process disputes/chargebacks, including independently investigating, documenting, and resolving disputes/chargebacks.
Proactively identify trends and implement strategies to minimize dispute/chargeback losses.
Maintain accurate records of dispute/chargeback activity and deliver appropriate reporting at the required cadence.
Departmental Project Management:
Manage and track departmental deadlines using our project management system, taking ownership of task completion and meeting timelines.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and task assignments for the finance team.
Capture key outcomes and action items from meetings, and then establish and monitor these deliverables within our project management system.
Support for Director of Operational Finance and Manager of Finance:
Provide administrative and operational support to both the Director of Operational Finance and Manager of Finance, including assisting with special projects and ad-hoc tasks.
Assist in the development and documentation of financial procedures.
Assistance with other duties or projects as required and assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
Experience in the entertainment industry is recommended but not required.
2-3 years of experience in a financial operations or accounting role.
Proven experience in managing AP and AR processes, and/or,
Proven experience with general ledger reconciliation, and,
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, and other MS/Google Suite applications
