We are seeking a remote based Human Resources professional to join our HR team. This is a Temp to Permanent position pending performance. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a dynamic corporate team at a growing professional services firm. As a key member of the team, the HR Assistant will perform various HR responsibilities.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Support the day-to-day compensation and benefits administration including enrolling new hires, processing and reporting changes and terminations, COBRA management, assisting with annual Open Enrollment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost effectiveness
Support semi-monthly multi-state payroll processing including salary, hourly, and contract employees
Support maintenance of HR compliance programs; maintains other records, reports, filings, and logs to conform to EEO regulation, federal, state, and local employment laws
Manage and maintain confidential employee records. Conduct audits for all active personnel files to ensure compliance
Develop and analyze appropriate HR metrics, data, and trends to meet management information needs
Prepare, coordinate and update various reports on a weekly, monthly or ad hoc basis
Support the development of HR communication and presentations to the Leadership Team and MGT employee
Performs additional, ad-hoc related duties and support HR projects
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Mathematics, or related field
1-2 years of experience within Human Resources
Knowledge of one or more HR competencies - benefits administration, employee relations, legal compliance, talent acquisition, resource management, performance management, onboarding, HR reporting and other talent management
Self-starter with the ability to work virtually and independently; Strong desire to grow personally and professionally
Proven analytical skills, including the ability to transform disparate pieces of information and summarize analysis into understandable, actionable reports, and recommendations
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills (verbal and written). Must be able to lead meetings and conduct presentations.
Experience working effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, diverse, and dynamic environment
Ability to be flexible to and adapt to the dynamic nature of multiple, concurrent projects with competing deadlines.
Professional and a team player, ability to engage on all levels of the organization
Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Strong Excel Suite experience required

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide amazing customer service by effectively managing customer expectations.
Support various Services Organization programs.
Build support structures and populate with SICK equipment. Requires the use of hand tools and basic construction knowledge.
Make electrical connections of SICK equipment.
Configure SICK products utilizing laptop and configuration software.
Provide onsite commissioning of installed equipment following established criteria.
Perform onsite start up support, monitor installed equipment for proper operation, and adjust as needed.
Able to properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and replace SICK equipment.
Regular attendance and timeliness.
Provide accurate and timely service reports, timecards, and travel expenses.
Attend required training sessions as assigned.
Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
Two-year college degree, technical school or equivalent work experience required. Four-year college degree is preferred.
0 – 3 years of prior field service experience.
Other Qualifications:
This is a travel position and will require domestic and international travel upwards of 85% of time.
Available to work alternative schedules including weekends, nights, and on-call hours is required.
Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Legally permitted to work in the United States.

Successfully install, static test, and commission a minimum of at least two CDM module CLV based master/slave scanner system.
Technical Learning – Working knowledge of SOPAS and CLV Setup engineering software. Demonstrate ability to write simple evaluation conditions and output format expressions. Receive on the job training from senior technicians. Complete assigned core positional tasks and obtain site lead qualification book endorsements. Completed assigned Cornerstone SICK U or Mosaic site training classes.
Ability to read basic CAD designs, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Demonstrate ability to complete and meet the administrative job requirements, (Expense reports, daily reports, PMI’s, etc.) and other tasks as assigned.
Demonstrate ability to assemble scanner system 80/20 frames.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position has primary responsibility to support the various SICK Services and Products throughout North America.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide amazing customer service by effectively managing customer expectations.
Support various Services Organization programs.
Build support structures and populate with SICK equipment. Requires the use of hand tools and basic construction knowledge.
Make electrical connections of SICK equipment.
Configure SICK products utilizing laptop and configuration software.
Provide onsite commissioning of installed equipment following established criteria.
Perform onsite start up support, monitor installed equipment for proper operation, and adjust as needed.
Able to properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and replace SICK equipment.
Regular attendance and timeliness.

Education and Experience:
Two-year college degree, technical school or equivalent work experience required. Four-year college degree is preferred.

This is a travel position and will require domestic and international travel upwards of 85% of time.
Available to work alternative schedules including weekends, nights, and on-call hours is required.
