Lake of the Pines Homeowners Association (LOP) is accepting applications for the position of Bartender and Server, to work special events and banquets as well as serving at The Clubhouse restaurant on Thursday and Friday evenings. MUST have open availability on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Lake of the Pines is a 2,000-home gated private community located in the foothills of Northern California between the towns of Auburn and Grass Valley. Among its numerous amenities, the community boasts of a 230-acre private lake and a 19-hole golf course as two of its prime amenities. This is a PT, hourly position with a salary range of $17.10-$18.71/hour, plus tips, and benefits including sick leave, discounted golf, and meals at our 2 restaurants, and facility use privileges including swimming pool, beaches, parks, and tennis. Pre-employment background search required following conditional offer of employment.
Required Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to work any special events, banquets, and evening dining on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and or Sundays.

Knowledgeable of liquor brands and making drink techniques
Prepare all monies/charge tickets and tips for turn in at end shift. Ensure all banks are correct or identified as to shortage/overage.
Stocks ice and bar supplies, and cleans bar area and glasses at end of shift
Maintains a clean work area and guest environment
Follows all requirements for the responsible service of alcohol
Understands basic money handling and can make proper change and process credit cards

Qualifications
Qualifications Requirements:
Meets state & local age requirements for mixing and serving alcohol.
Maintains current CA required Food Handlers Certificate and Responsible Beverage Service (RSB) Training and certification.
3 years previous experience including beer, wine, liquor, and service as well as cash handling.
Demonstrated track record of honesty while performing the responsibilities of a bartender including personal integrity, good steward of the business's assets including liquor and money.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to balance and carry multiple beverage items and plates of food.
Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods of time.

Summary:
The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting guest(s) and seating them at an appropriate table before they are introduced to their server. Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of any banquet rooms, hallways, storage and service areas. Routinely inventory and care for banquet supplies such as linens, chairs, china, glassware, flatware and decorations. Set up the banquet room per the specification of a banquet events order, and then reset the room to its original state after the event has concluded. During the event, duties include assisting servers, transporting tables and equipment, maintaining audio-visual equipment, reporting maintenance issues to management, and providing requested information to banquet patrons.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
Meet and greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
Sets up and breaks down meeting rooms according to event orders as well as maintains cleanliness standards for equipment and meeting rooms.
Assemble and arrange conference equipment in meeting rooms per event requirements.
Open rooms for use adjusting lights, sound volumes, and temperature as needed for each room before guests arrive.
Ensure proper use, storage and maintenance of all A/V and meeting room equipment.
Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the Kumi Event Center, Back of House, Hospitality Suite and any areas designated as Banquet or Entertainment venues.
Communicate any areas of need, problems, and concerns from guest to supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc):
Must obtain and maintain valid licenses / certifications per Federal, State and ERGC Gaming regulations.
Must successfully pass background check.
Must successfully pass drug screening.
Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
Prior experience in the Gaming industry required.
Prior experience in Tribal Gaming strongly preferred.
KNOWLEDGE OF:
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
ABILITY TO:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Evenings, weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.
