JOB TITLE: Lighting Technician DEPARTMENT: Internal Technicians - Alabama SUPERVISOR: Regional Manager
The Lighting Technician will be responsible for providing service to the companys existing and new lighting project clients. This position will complete the scope of work laid out for each job within the timeline set forth by the Crew Leader and Regional Manager. The Lighting Technician must adhere to all company quality and safety standards while on a job site.
This position must conform to all corporate policies and procedures, uphold ethical standards, and exemplify corporate values, with an emphasis on integrity and service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Installs lamps, Ballasts, lighting fixtures, wiring, and power.
Loads and unloads materials, ladders, and misc. equipment.
Follows instructions from the Crew Leader.
Safely operates lifts using extreme caution not to damage any property at client location.
Immediately reports any damages to the Crew Leader of clients property, Lightserve property, and/or vehicles.
Exhibits caution and safety when working in client locations.
Performs minor construction duties as needed.
Palatalizes and shrink wraps recycling for pick up.
Responsible to clean up any scraps, trash, and misc. lighting materials from sales floors/warehouses upon leaving the location each day.
Recognizes different lighting technologies, sensor installs, exit sign installs, and egress lighting.
Cleans out personal trash from the company vehicle upon completion of a job run.
Additional job duties/responsibilities as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Education and Certifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
Lift and Bucket Truck certifications or completion within an agreed upon timeline.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to read maps and schedules, utilize GPS, and adherence to route schedules.
Must be able to drive for extended periods of time.
Ability to travel up to 15 days at a time throughout the US.
Valid Drivers License.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years of lighting or electrical experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work with arms over head.
Safely work with hand tools at various heights.
Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, stretching, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
Must possess the ability to climb a ladder.
Must be able to work with machinery, tools, electrical and motorized equipment.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Position Summary
The Specialist, Audio Visual Support is a member of the Technology Support team of the Technology Department. The primary responsibilities of the Specialist, Audio Visual Support include:
Work closely with the team to set up and support meetings, events and other multi-media activities in the office and virtually.
Serve as an expert of meeting and collaboration tools-including Webex, Jabber, content sharing, digital recording, WebRTC, and Cisco scheduling.
Set up conference room technology for scheduled and ad hoc audio and video meetings.
Answer technical questions to meeting organizers, set up and distribute links (Webex, Zoom, etc.) for upcoming virtual meetings, support rehearsals and meetings in the office and virtually.
Show and guide Firm members and clients how to use Firm meeting tools such as Webex, audio conferencing, Cisco Jabber, content sharing, and alike.
Assist the AV lead and the team in scheduling and assigning team resources to meeting support requests, as needed.
Provide on-call support when required.
Help perform system quality checks to promptly correct audio visual technical issues before meetings and Firm events. Support Firm events by setting up, maintaining and/or removing AV equipment.
Monitor and follow up support requests submitted to the AV team via email, Jabber and ServiceNow.
Help troubleshoot, repair or escalate issues related to our integrated AV systems.
Use RRS and TMS systems, and other Firm systems, to ensure AV requests, reports, follow ups and activities are timely maintained and recorded.
As a member of the Technology Support team, the Specialist, Audio Visual Support will collaborate with colleagues on technical support, including:
Supporting hardware, software, mobile devices and other peripherals.
Monitor the call queue from our internal ticketing system (Service Desk) and record, track and close service incidents promptly.
Take ownership of technical problems and resolve the issue.
Assist the team with technology equipment moves to support internal office relocations.
Work closely with team colleagues to keep them informed of technical issues, follow-ups, escalations and resolutions.
The Specialist, Audio Visual Support is to be client-service driven and able to professionally communicate, engage, follow up and collaborate with Technology managers and colleagues, lawyers and other business services teams. The individual is to cultivate positive and collaborate relationships with the team, the Firm and clients.
Technical Qualifications
Knowledge and experience with meeting tools such as Webex, Jabber, content sharing and digital recording (or their equivalent). Knowledge and experience with WebRTC, Cisco scheduling and bridging, and TMS and room reservation systems, are preferred.
Experience working with and handling audio visual equipment.
Knowledge and experience with Control Systems, DSPs, Audio Distribution, Touch Panels and Virtual TPs, Cisco Codecs & Infrastructure AV equipment.
ITIL Foundation certification or practical experience of ITIL is desirable.
Knowledge of the following would be advantageous:
Hands-on experience in desk side troubleshooting
Application support experience with Microsoft Office 2017 and Windows 7, Citrix, Cisco AnyConnect, BlackBerry Work, iManage and SharePoint.
Exposure and/or experience with database applications.

Position Summary
The Specialist, Audio Visual Support is a member of the Technology Support team of the Technology Department. The primary responsibilities of the Specialist, Audio Visual Support include:
* Work closely with the team to set up and support meetings, events and other multi-media activities in the office and virtually.
* Serve as an expert of meeting and collaboration tools-including Webex, Jabber, content sharing, digital recording, WebRTC, and Cisco scheduling.
* Set up conference room technology for scheduled and ad hoc audio and video meetings.
* Answer technical questions to meeting organizers, set up and distribute links (Webex, Zoom, etc.) for upcoming virtual meetings, support rehearsals and meetings in the office and virtually.
* Show and guide Firm members and clients how to use Firm meeting tools such as Webex, audio conferencing, Cisco Jabber, content sharing, and alike.
* Assist the AV lead and the team in scheduling and assigning team resources to meeting support requests, as needed.
* Provide on-call support when required.
* Help perform system quality checks to promptly correct audio visual technical issues before meetings and Firm events. Support Firm events by setting up, maintaining and/or removing AV equipment.
* Monitor and follow up support requests submitted to the AV team via email, Jabber and ServiceNow.
* Help troubleshoot, repair or escalate issues related to our integrated AV systems.
* Use RRS and TMS systems, and other Firm systems, to ensure AV requests, reports, follow ups and activities are timely maintained and recorded.
As a member of the Technology Support team, the Specialist, Audio Visual Support will collaborate with colleagues on technical support, including:
* Supporting hardware, software, mobile devices and other peripherals.
* Monitor the call queue from our internal ticketing system (Service Desk) and record, track and close service incidents promptly.
* Take ownership of technical problems and resolve the issue.
* Assist the team with technology equipment moves to support internal office relocations.
* Work closely with team colleagues to keep them informed of technical issues, follow-ups, escalations and resolutions.
The Specialist, Audio Visual Support is to be client-service driven and able to professionally communicate, engage, follow up and collaborate with Technology managers and colleagues, lawyers and other business services teams. The individual is to cultivate positive and collaborate relationships with the team, the Firm and clients.
Technical Qualifications
* Knowledge and experience with meeting tools such as Webex, Jabber, content sharing and digital recording (or their equivalent). Knowledge and experience with WebRTC, Cisco scheduling and bridging, and TMS and room reservation systems, are preferred.
* Experience working with and handling audio visual equipment.
* Knowledge and experience with Control Systems, DSPs, Audio Distribution, Touch Panels and Virtual TPs, Cisco Codecs & Infrastructure AV equipment.
* ITIL Foundation certification or practical experience of ITIL is desirable.
* Knowledge of the following would be advantageous:
* Hands-on experience in desk side troubleshooting
* Application support experience with Microsoft Office 2017 and Windows 7, Citrix, Cisco AnyConnect, BlackBerry Work, iManage and SharePoint.
* Exposure and/or experience with database applications.

Bitmovin is looking for a Senior Video Streaming Engineer to join our Video On Demand (VOD) Encoding team in Berlin. As a key technical leader, you will help shape the architecture and development of our massively scalable, cloud-based encoding platform that serves global enterprise customers like Discovery+, DAZN, BBC, RTL, RedBull Media House, Globo, ClassPass, and The New York Times.

Your Impact
You will make an impact that matters by:
Develop and optimize encoding workflows, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Design and implement scalable and maintainable software solutions in C++ and Java.
Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver industry-leading video streaming solutions.
Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, testing, and DevOps.
Guide and mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Improve and extend monitoring and alerting systems to enhance service reliability.
What can you bring
Extensive experience in C++ software development (C++11 and newer).
Solid understanding of video codecs and container formats.
Experience with streaming standards such as MPEG-DASH, HLS.
Familiarity with OTT streaming workflows and video processing pipelines.
Experience with Java (at least some exposure to Java-based services).
Experience working with Google Test or similar testing frameworks.
Proficiency in code versioning systems (Git or equivalent).
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to travel on an occasional basis to meet with our clients in the US
Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), knowledge of Kotlin, microservices architectures and Docker/Kubernetes is a plus
