Must perform work in a variety of settings and conditions including commercial, industrial, and residential areas. Must properly perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure safe operational order and report maintenance issues. Driver's responsibilities are the operation, general upkeep of assigned fleet truck, fueling of vehicle and assisting with other duties as needed. Promotes overall safety of yourself and others in compliance with safety requirements and procedures; Communicates and collaborates in a teamwork and positive work environment. Work performance required to be on uneven ground. Deliveries shall be completed on time and must effectively interact with customers. Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, communicate effectively using speaking, hearing, writing and vision skills. Must obey all applicable laws and following dispatch instructions. Ensures the quality and accuracy of product being loaded and delivered. Ability to climb in and out of equipment safely using proper 3-points of contact and working at heights. Completes delivery documentation and reports any issues or necessary repairs to the administrative team. Must comply with the State of Florida mandated driving/licenses requirements. Must maintain a safe driving record and have a valid driver's license and reliable. Position Emphasizes: Class A licenses required; 2+ years of commercial vehicle driving experience; Will train on flatbed strapping; Local route; Home Daily; Monday through Friday work schedule; Flexible shift length based upon the number of daily deliveries; Average number of daily work hours is from 8 to 10 hours; Estimated Weekly Pay is approximately $1,300 when running an average of 3 loads per day with the opportunity to complete more loads if schedule allows. Position is a 1099 contract.
