RN, RT, or LPN Technician
The Licensed Technician will be working with medical equipment, specifically CPAPs, and ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care. This role will be responsible for filtering through orders, verifying prescriptions, and communicating any concerns with customer service representatives. The individual in this role will also be responsible for ensuring that medical equipment is set correctly based on prescriptions and patient needs. This is a fast-paced position with urgent deadlines requiring strong personal drive and commitment to success.
Working Location: Waterloo, IA, must be onsite in a warehouse environment
Working Hours: 2nd Shift; Semi Full-time, preferably working until 6:30pm
Licensed Technician Responsibilities
Properly translate CPAP machine prescription settings that comes over from home medical equipment suppliers
Pick, set and ship medical devices for all life sustaining machines (Adaptive Servo-Ventilation, etc.)
Oversite of all medical device orders to check for accuracy to the prescription
Responsible for handling incoming CPAP request from vendors, patients and manufacturers
Follows strict HIPAA confidentiality guidelines
Responsible for keeping all parties informed of order status; keeps timely and accurate notes of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, comments, as well as actions taken
Answers telephone and emails timely; takes messages as needed providing answers to questions from patients, staff, and manufacturing companies
Be available to come in early and stay late as needed to provide adequate support to the business
Maintain a clean and safety work environment to prevent accidents and injuries.
Maintain compliance, safety, and quality standards by ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
Ability to obtain necessary licensing paid for by VGM to sustain the role and manage the renewal process
While performing the duties of this job, the employee maybe required to assist with other departmental functions upon request
Licensed Technician Qualifications

Performs routine respiratory therapy procedures including IPPB, O2 therapy, and humidity/aerosol therapy in an assigned area on patients.
Establishes and maintains ventilation and airway care for assigned patients and provides ventilatory support to patients receiving cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Performs advanced respiratory care techniques, including but not limited to: invasive pressure monitoring, including ICP, pulmonary artery catheters, cardiac output determinations, administration of Nitric Oxide, and other gases. Assists physician in insertion of catheters as needed. Performs arterial blood gas collection through line draws or punctures.
Performs patient assessment and reassessment through observation of the patient, clinical data gathering, response to therapy and reports findings accurately making referrals to appropriate disciplines as needed.
Provides educational development through guidance and teaching and serves as a technical resource person to the patient, patient's family, physician, students and other hospital staff regarding respiratory care procedures.
Recognizes and reacts appropriately to environmental safety factors and performs preventative and routine maintenance on respiratory care equipment and instruments.
Participates in departmental/hospital continuous improvement opportunities.

Position Summary: The Program Underwriter II - Golf position at VGM Group is responsible for maintaining a book of business with a high degree of underwriting acumen and communication skills including relationship building with broker partners. They will renew retention with a focus on rate, profitability, and acceptable exposure review. Position Responsibilities:
Manage the renewal book of assigned accounts, focusing on rates, profitability, and acceptable exposure review
Build relationships and work toward business growth goals, whiling having a sales-minded drive
Perform multi-lines underwriting services, including but not limited to general liability, liquor liability, property, and excess
Communicate and negotiate with brokers, internal staff, and carrier partners to meet business needs
Underwrite and understand exposures of typical Golf Courses & Country Clubs from GL, Liquor, Property, SAM, Pollution, and Excess coverage perspectives
Demonstrate high accuracy and speed rating, quoting, and issuing all renewal policies

Improve knowledge and acumen of coverage forms, exposures, and loss trends to be an effective multi-line underwriter
Build professional relationships by communicating with brokers and meeting mutually desired objectives, with a focus on golf industry brokers for strong retention on golf-related accounts.
Establish strong professional relationships with carrier partners, key underwriting, and sales partners, understand coverage appetite and submission process, particularly for golf courses and country clubs.
Demonstrate professional, tactful negotiation skills, particularly in the context of golf insurance.
Maintain strong knowledge and expertise of property and casualty insurance, including coverages, rating, terminology, and technical procedures, specifically related to golf courses and country clubs.
Maintain an understanding of ISO rules and rates, with specific application to golf course and country club insurance.
Ensure that all regulatory, compliance, and transparency requirements are met and complies with all internal policies and procedures, with a focus on golf industry standards.

Establishes and maintains ventilation and airway care for assigned patients and provides ventilatory support to patients receiving cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Performs advanced respiratory care techniques, including but not limited to: invasive pressure monitoring, including ICP, pulmonary artery catheters, cardiac output determinations, administration of Nitric Oxide, and other gases. Assists physician in insertion of catheters as needed. Performs arterial blood gas collection through line draws or punctures.
Performs patient assessment and reassessment through observation of the patient, clinical data gathering, response to therapy and reports findings accurately making referrals to appropriate disciplines as needed.
Provides educational development through guidance and teaching and serves as a technical resource person to the patient, patient's family, physician, students and other hospital staff regarding respiratory care procedures.
Recognizes and reacts appropriately to environmental safety factors and performs preventative and routine maintenance on respiratory care equipment and instruments.
Participates in departmental/hospital continuous improvement opportunities.
